Diploma Course in Hospitality Industry 2023 Notification
BTR Government has launched a new scheme to provide Free Diploma Courses in the Hospitality Industry to the economically weaker section of the BTR region. Before that, the BTR Govt has launched a similar scheme for the economically weaker section of the BTR Region. The name of the scheme is Bodofa Super 50 Mission. Under the Bodoland Super 50 Mission, 50 deserving candidates from BTR Region are selected for free residential coaching for 11 months of Govt. sponsored residential coaching centres in the areas of Engineering, Medical, UPSC & APSC.
The Director cum CHD of Tourism Department Kokrajhar of BTR Government has released an official notification for inviting the unemployed youths from the BTR Region to avail of residential Diploma courses in the Hospitality Industry at Food Craft Institute, Samaguri, Nagaon, Assam. The application process will start from 7 July 2023 and the last date to apply is 19 July 2023. So, interested candidates must apply for Diploma Course in Hospitality Industry 2023 before the last date.

Free Diploma Course Details in Hospitality Industry
Under the Free Diploma Courses in Hospitality Industry by BTR Govt. candidates are invited to take admission in the below-mentioned four courses:
- Food Production
- Food & Bevarage Services
- Bakery & Confectionery
- Front Office
A total of 20 candidates (5 Students in Each Course) will be selected for the residential diploma courses for one year and six months at Food Craft Institute Samaguri in Nagaon District of Assam which is affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology, New Delhi, under the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India.
Benefits of BTR Govt Sponsored Diploma Courses
The Tourism Department of BTR Govt will provide the fees of admission, course, uniform, caution, examination, enrollment and internal exam fees. All the personnel expenses will have to be borne by the students.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must be a resident of the Bodoland Territorial Region.
Education Qualification: The minimum educational qualification of the interested candidates is 12 passed from any stream.
Age Limit: The Minimum age limit is 25 Years as on 1 July 2023.

The selection will be made through an Interview. Document Verification and Interview will be held at the Director cum CHD Office, Tourism Department, Kokrajhar,
Training
The 1 & 1/2 year course includes 6 months of mandatory industrial training at various 5-star category hotels across the nation such as Taj, Oberoi, Leela, Holiday Inn etc. and the training placement will be facilitated by the institute.
Bond From Candidate
The Selected candidates will have to sign a bond stating that they will not discontinue the course.
