Sainik School Goalpara Admission 2024 Notification: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released Goalpara Sainik School Admission Notification for the forthcoming academic session 2024-25. Sainik School Goalpara Admission 2024-25 will be made through the All India Sainik School Entrance Exam 2024. So, the students wiishing to take admission at Sainik School need to clear the All India Sainik School Entrance Exam 2024.
As per the Sainik School Admission Notification 2023, the online application for All India Sainik School Entrance Exam 2024 has started on 7 November 2023 and the last date to apply is 16 December 2023. Students can apply for AISSEE 2024 at- sainikschoolgoalpara.org before the closing date.

About Sainik School Goalpara
Sainik School in Goalpara: Goalpara Sainik School, Assam was founded on 12 Novemnber 1964. It is a residential co-ed school for cadets, providing Public School Education with an aim to prepare them to join defence Services. The Sainik School Goalpara is located in Matia, Dudhnoi Road, 18 Km away from Goalpara town, near Mornai village.

Sainik Schools Society (SSS) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Defence, Govt of India. The Society runs Sainik Schools. Sainik Schools are English medium residential schools affiliated to CBSE. Sainik Schools prepare Cadets to join the National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla (Pune), Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala and other Training Academies for officers. At present there are a total of 33 Sainik Schools across the country
Eligibility Criteria
To appear in AISSEE Exam 2024 to get admission at Sainik Schools, students must need to meet the eligibility criteria.
For admission to Class VI
- A candidate must be between 10 and 12 years as on 31 March 2024 for admission to
Class VI to the academic year 2024-25. - Admission for Girls is open for Class VI. Age criteria is same as for boys.
For admission to Class IX
- A candidate should be between 13 and 15 years for admission to Class IX,
- Admission for Girls is open for Class IX, subject to availability of vacancies. Age criteriais same as boys.
- He/She must have passed Class VIII exam from a recognized school at the time ofadmission.

How to Apply All India Sainik School Entrance Exam 2024?
As per the AISSEE 2024 Notification, to take admission inClass VI and IX at Sainik Schools students need to appear in AISSEE Exam 2024. Candidates can apply for AISSEE 2024 “Online” only on the website https://exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE/. The Application Form other than online mode will not be accepted.
As mentioned in the notification, only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. Application form is common for admission to both Sainik Schools and approved New Sainik Schools. Fee as stated above is the same whether a candidate applies for Sainik Schools/approved New Sainik Schools or both.
Candidates must follow the instructions to complete the application process.
- Register online using unique Email ID and Mobile No.
- Fill in the Online Application Form and note down the system generated Application No.
Upload the following documents
- Scanned images of Candidate’s Photograph.
- Candidate’s Signature
- Candidate’s left-hand thumb impression.
- Date of Birth Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
- Domicile Certificate.
- Caste/Community/ Category Certificate.
- Certificate of service (for Defence category-serving) and PPO for Ex- servicemen, if applicable.
- Certificate from the Principal certifying that the applicant is studying in the approved New Sainik School.
Sainik School Admission Selection Process
AISSEE 2024
AISSEE 2024 covers admission for the academic year 2024-25 for Class VI and Class IX of the Sainik Schools. Admission to Class VI and Class IX of the 33 Sainik Schools for the academic year 2024-25, is through a written exam called AISSEE 2024. Admission is based on the performance of candidates in the All-India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE).
The admission of candidates will be carried out on the basis of e counselling as per rank secured by the candidates in the School wise, gender wise, category wise(Home State and Outside State) Merit List of AISSEE 2024, medical fitness approved by competent medical authorities and verification of original documents.
