Assam Cabinet Meeting 5 February 2025: The recent Assam Cabinet meeting was held on February 2025 under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma. Several significant decisions were made during the meeting, including:

6. The Assam cabinet has approved the Assam Public Distribution Article Amendment Order 2025, which extends the FPS licence renewal period from 3 years to 5 years.
7. The Assam cabinet has approved an investment of Rs. 42.72cr to take up small industries’ cluster development works.
