Assam Lok Sabha Election Candidate List 2024: During the scrutiny process on 28 March, 36 out of 38 candidates had valid nomination papers for the first phase of Lok Sabha elections in Assam. The first phase of polling in Assam is set for April 19, 2024, covering constituencies such as Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Lakhimpur, Sonitpur, and Kaziranga.
Two candidates, Faisal Ahmed Majumdar from the Republican Party of India (Athawale) in Kaziranga Constituency and Mahendra Orang, an independent candidate in Sonitpur Constituency, had their papers rejected.
After the scrutiny, 11 candidates from Kaziranga, 9 from Sonitpur, 8 from Lakhimpur, 5 from Jorhat, and 3 from Dibrugarh had valid nomination papers.
The last date for nomination submission for the first phase was March 27, and scrutiny scheduled was on March 28. The last date for withdrawal of Lok Sabha Election 2024 candidature is March 30.

Phase 2 Assam Lok Sabha Election Candidate List 2024
During the scrutiny process on 5 April, 62 out of 65 candidates had valid nomination papers for the second phase of Lok Sabha elections in Assam. The second phase of polling in Assam is set for April 26, 2024, covering constituencies such as Darrang-Udalguri, Diphu, Karimganj, Silchar, and Nagaon.
Three candidates nomination papers were rejected. They are-

- Biswajit Bordoloi, the independent candidate, and Horen Bhumij, the Hamar Raj Party candidate from the Nagaon Lok Sabha Constituency
