Assam Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Scheme 2025 | MMNM Scheme
Assam Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina (MMNM) Scheme 2025: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has now launced the 2.0 version of MMNM Scheme. The official launch of Nijut Moina 2.0 has took place on 6th August 2025, at 11 AM at the BKB Auditorium, Gauhati University. The event was graced by Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma and Dr. Ranoj Pegu, Minister of Education, Assam.
To ensure wide reach, application forms has been distributed across more than 380 institutions throughout Assam on the same day, making it easily accessible for eligible students.

Benefits of MMNM Scheme 2025
A total of 10 lakh girls can benefit the Assam Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Scheme for pursuing their bachelors or masters. Discrimination is entirely prohibited towards the girls based on genders in case of education matters. This Scheme motivates the female students in the field of education by empowering them in achieving success throughout their educational career.
The programme offers monthly financial support based on the level of education:

Assam Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Scheme Eligibility
Following are the eligibility criteria to apply for the Assam Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Scheme:
- Applicant must have a domicile certificate of Assam
- Applicant must be a government school/college student
- Applicants must be a female student
- The annual family income of the students must not exceed the limit set by the government.
Not Eligible
The following are not eligible for the scheme:
- Married girls (except PG & B.Ed categories and in-service B.Ed candidates)
- Daughters of Ministers, MPs & MLAs
- Recipients of the Banikanta Kakati Award (scholarship)
- Students of private institutions
How to apply Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Scheme 2025?
The apply for 2.0 scheme Nijut Moina follow the given steps-
- Application forms will be distributed at over 380 institutions across Assam.
- Complete the form with accurate personal, educational, and financial details.
- Submit the completed form to your respective school/college authority.
- School/College authorities will upload the student data on the designated portal starting from 7 August 2025.
- The data will be verified, and approved applicants will have their details uploaded to the SBI portal by 15 September 2025.
- Cheques will be distributed to eligible students in October 2025.
