ABSU Foundation Day: The All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) has celebrated its 58th Foundation Day on Saturday, 15 February 2025, with a day-long program scheduled throughout the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) and across Assam and also at other places like Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, etc. 2025 marks a significant milestone in ABSU’s remarkable journey in social services, as the organization continues to be one of the most influential student unions in the northeast.
The event will honour ABSU’s long-standing contributions to the region, emphasizing its role in empowering communities and promoting student welfare.

ABSU Foundation Day
The ABSU student organisation was established on February 15, 1967. A group of Bodo students founded it to promote the language, literature, and culture of the Bodo community. The ABSU has been actively working for the welfare of the people in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).
In 2025, the ABSU will celebrate its 58th foundation day, marking a significant milestone in its journey. All the district and anchalik units of the union will observe this day at their respective offices across the state and in other locations such as West Bengal, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Shillong, and more.
