The current Principal Secretary, now Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is Akash Deep, IAS (RR-2005). IAS Akash Deep has taken over the charge of CEO of BTC govt on Wednesday, 28 June 2023.

Transfer and Posting Responsibilities in the BTC Govt.
- The SAD, BTC will look after transfer and posting of Grade III & IV staff of BTC Secretariat along with staff of Bodoland Guest Houses/Bhawans.
- The Special Officer will look after transfer & posting of Stenographer Grade I, II, & III of BTC Sectt. through concerned Secretaries.
- The GAD, BTC will look after transfer and placement of Driver of BTC Sectt., Kokrajhar
- The Personnel Department will issue NOC and appointment related matters to transferred subjects of BTC. All departments need to obtain approval from Personnel Department regarding posting of all Officers and staff of entrusted department.
