Sanma Brahma Biography: Early Life, Education, Family, Marriage
Indian Wushu player Sanma Brahma was born on 27 March 1998 at Haladol Village in the Kokrajhar district of Bodoland(BTR) in Assam. He is born into a poor family. His Father’s name is Rakesh Brahma.
Because of financial issues, Sanma faced many problems due to his career choice.
Sanma Brahma: Wushu Career
Sanma started his Wushu career in 2010 and he was selected to SAI Kokrajhar. Sanma represented India for the first time in 2018 at the 3rd World Tailiquan Wushu Championship held at Burgas, Bulgaria from 25 September to 2 October 2018 where he got 4th position.
1. International Wushu Star Championship, Moscow, Russia 2023
Recently, in the current year, Wushu player Sanma participated in International Wushu Championship 2023, which was held in Moscow, Russia and he bagged a silver medal held in Moscow, Russia from May 3rd to May 8th, 2023.
3. International Wushu Stars Championship, Taijijian, Moscow 2022
Sanma Brahma bagged Silver in Taijiquan & Bronze in Taijijian in the Moscow Wushu Stars Championship 2022.
5. 36th National Games 2022 Gujarat
Sanma Brahma bagged a silver medal in the 36th National Games 2022 Gujarat held from 29 September and 12 October 2022.
4. 15th World Wushu Championships, Shanghai, China 2019
Bodo Wushu player Sanma Brahma got selected for the 15th World Wushu Championship held in Shanghai, China from 19 October to 23 October 2019.
After playing in the 15th World Wushu Championship 2019 he qualified for World Games 2022 which was held in Birmingham in the US.
But unfortunately, he could not win any medals in World Games 2022
5. The 3rd World Tailiquan Wushu Championship, Burgas, Bulgaria, 2018
In 2018, Sanma Brahma got the first opportunity to represent the country at The 3rd World Tailiquan Wushu Championship held in Burgas, Bulgaria from 25 September to 2 October 2018 and he got 4th place.
Achievements
Assam Government take an important decision for Sanma Brahma and other medal winners in National Games Gujarat 2022, will be appointed to Grade III posts under the Directorate of Sports and Youth Welfare.
