New DC of Kokrajhar | IAS Pradeep Kumar Dwivedi
The Government of Assam, as part of a recent administrative reshuffle, has issued order No. ECF.322020/12-C on July 22, appointing Shri Pradeep Kumar Dwivedi, an IAS officer from the RR-2019 batch, as the New DC of Kokrajhar. This appointment is effective from July.
He will now serve as the present District Commissioner of Kokrajhar and also take on the role of Director of Training at the Bodoland Administrative Staff College, Kokrajhar. Moreover, he has been assigned the additional responsibility of serving as the Secretary of the Bodoland Territorial Region.
IAS Officer Pradeep Kumar Dwivedi who is appointed as the New DC of Kokrajhar has been designated to undertake the following roles:
- District Commissioner of Kokrajhar
- Director of Training at the Bodoland Administrative Staff College, Kokrajhar
- Secretary of the Bodoland Territorial Region
Having previously served as the Additional District Commissioner of Bajali, IAS Pradeep Kumar Dwivedi is well-acquainted with the challenges. His extensive administrative experience is anticipated to bring a fresh perspective and contribute to efficient governance to the region.
As he assumes his new responsibilities, expectations are running high, with hopes that his tenure will witness the implementation of innovative strategies aimed at addressing local issues and improving the livelihoods of the residents in the Bodoland Territorial Region.
