Eligibility Criteria
Assam SC Scholarship 2023: To avail of the financial assistance for SC, Students in Class 1 – 8 must meet the eligibility Criteria. The eligibility criteria for the SC Scholarship scheme by the Assam government has mentioned below:
- Candidate must belong to Scheduled Caste (SC) Category.
- Candidate must study in Class I to Class VIII.
- The annual income of parents or guardians of the students must not exceed Rs. 2.50 lakh per annum from all sources.
Selection Process
Assam Scheduled Caste Scholarship 2023: The Sub-Divisional welfare officers will scrutinize the SC Scholarship Assam application form and required documents submitted by the students and institutions (final verification). If all are okay, it’ll be forwarded to the Director of the Welfare of SC & BC Department of Assam, Guwahati, on or before 31 Oct 2023.
The basis on the report submitted by the Sub-Divisional welfare officers, the pre-matric scholarship will be provided to all eligible candidates on a certain date.
