Assam Disability Scholarship 2023: Online applications are invited from physically disabled eligible students studying in classes XI, X, XI, and XII for the Handicapped Scholarship Assam 2023 through the scheme of ‘Scholarship to the Differently Abled Student’. The online application has been started from 17 August 2023 and the last date for online application is 30 September 2023.
Only the students of Government and Provincialised schools under the Department of School Education, Govt. of Assam are eligible to apply for the Handicapped Scholarship 2023 in Assam under the ‘Scholarship to the Differently Abled Student’ scheme.

Scholarship for Handicapped Students in Assam 2023 Notification: The Secondary Education Department of the Assam Government has released a new notification for inviting eligible candidates from Physically Handicapped Students who are studying in classes 9 – 12 for filling up the application form for the Disability Grants in Assam 2023.
The online application process started on 17 August 2023 and the last date of online application is 30 September 2023. Eligible candidates can apply before 30 September 2023.

About Scholarship to the Differently Abled Student 2023
Scholarship to the Differently Abled Student 2023: “Scholarship to the Differently Abled Student 2023” is a Handicapped Scholarship Scheme in Assam. With a view to providing financial grants to students with disabilities in Assam state, the directorate of secondary education of Assam has implemented the ‘Scholarship to the Differently Abled Student’ scheme. Through this scheme, Physically disabled students will be provided financial support.

Benefits of the Assam Disability Scholarship 2023: Differently, Abled students studying in Classes IX-X will get Rs. 4,800 per annum, and Differently, Abled students studying in Classes XI-XII will get Rs. 6,000 per annum.
Eligibility Criteria
- Students must be under the “differently abled” category.
- Students must have valid differently abled certificates from the competent authority of Govt. of Assam.
- Students must be studying in classes IX, X, XI, and XII during the academic year 2023-24 in Government &
- Provincialized schools under Department of School Education, Govt. of Assam.
- Having Savings Bank Account from a recognized bank.
- No bar regarding the Annual Income of the family/ Parents.
