Assam D.El.Ed Admission 2023 Notification
D.El.Ed Assam Admission 2023 Notification: The State Council of Education Research and Training Department of Assam has released an advertisement notification for inviting eligible students, who are permanent residents of Assam to appear in the Pre-Entry Test (PET)- 2023 for admission into 2 Year Diploma in Elementary Education of DElEd Course. The course will be conducted in the NCTE-recognized Teacher Education Institutes- DIET, CTE, Normal School, BTC/Pvt.TEls of the state for the academic session 2023-2025.
The online Application was started on 25 July 2023 and the last date to apply is extended from 14 August 2023 to 22 August 2023. Candidates who are eligible for De.El.Ed Admission can submit their online applications before 22 August 2023.

What is D El Ed Course and why D El Ed is important?
If you are aspiring to take up teaching as a profession at the elementary level, then the D El Ed course is important for you. Because at present, to become a teacher in any government or private school D.El.Ed is mandatory.
DElEd Course in Assam 2023: The Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) program is a specific Course to train students to become a teacher at the primary level. It is a 2-year diploma course focused on students who want to become a teacher at the primary level. Any students from Assam who have scored a minimum of 50% in the Higher Secondary Examination can apply for the Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd Course).
Eligibility Criteria
D.El.Ed Eligibility Criteria 2023: To apply for the DElEd PET Entrance Examination for DElEd Admission in Assam, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria- such as educational qualification and age limit. Educational Qualification
The candidates must have passed Higher Secondary from a recognized Board/Council with at least 50% marks.
Note: For SC/ST(P)/ST(H) categories there will be a relaxation of 5% of marks.
Age Limit
The candidate must not be less than 18 years and not more than 34 years as on 1 July 2023.
Age Relaxation: There will be relaxation by 2 years in the upper age limit for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
