About Guwahati Assembly Segments
After the delimitation process, changes were made to the names and numbers of assembly segments. Initially, only Dudhnoi was reserved for Scheduled Tribes (ST). Now, with the inclusion of Boko-Chaygaon, and Goalpara- there are three ST reserves. Additionally, the Scheduled Caste (SC) reservation, previously in Boko, has now shifted to Dimoria.
