Guwahati Lok Sabha Election 2024: The 18th Lok Sabha election in Assam will be held in three voting phases, similar to the 2019 election. Guwahati will be in phase 3, along with Kokrajhar, Dhubri, and Barpeta constituencies, which are scheduled for 7 May.

About Guwahati Assembly Segments

After the delimitation process, changes were made to the names and numbers of assembly segments. Initially, only Dudhnoi was reserved for Scheduled Tribes (ST). Now, with the inclusion of Boko-Chaygaon, and Goalpara- there are three ST reserves. Additionally, the Scheduled Caste (SC) reservation, previously in Boko, has now shifted to Dimoria.
