The AFC Asian Cup is held every four years, contested by the senior men’s national football teams from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).

However, the schedule has been modified due to the extremely hot summer weather and Qatar’s participation in the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup. As a result, the tournament has been rescheduled to occur between January 12th and February 10th, 2024.
