Know About Kokrajhar District of BTR, Assam

Kokrajhar is one of the districts of Assam and the gateway to Northeast India. Both road and railway networks touch this district at Sirampur on the way to the rest of the northeast region.

Kokrajhar town is the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) headquarters, created on 10 Feb 2003, and now it comprises four districts of Assam, namely, Kokrajhar, Chirang, Baksa, and Udalguri.
