Flag Hoisting
The Festival formally commenced with the Flag Hoisting Ceremony at Bodoland University. The National Flag was hoisted by Principal Secretary, Govt of BTR, in the august presence of Hon’CEM Shri Pramod Boro .
The flags of the BU & BKIF were hoisted by the Vice Chancellor & Registrar of Bodoland University respectively.

Nobel Laureate and economist Prof Muhammad Yunus, while delivering a 20 minutes speech during the inaugural session of the first Bodoland International Knowledge festival on Monday (27 Feb 2023), suggested the BTR chief, Pramod Boro, create an environment where youths are encouraged to be entrepreneurs instead of job seekers. He also mentioned empowering women for the development of society.
