The Assam Government today, i.e.,28 Feb 2023 announced to conduct of a special TET examination 2023 for the Lower Primary and Upper Primary Levels. Online applications are invited from permanent residents under the 6th Schedule Areas (BTR, Dima-Hasao and Karbi Anglong). The candidates who qualify for the 6th Schedule TET will be eligible to participate in the recruitment process for the post of elementary teachers of schools located in the 6th Schedule area, provided they have other academic and professional qualifications as per NCTE norms.

Steps for submission of on-line Application and examination fee are:
- Log-in through the website ssa.assam.gov.in or sebaonline.org dated (5 March 2023).
- Download Instruction Manual.
- Read carefully the Instruction Manual on how to submit the online application form.
- Submit Online Application and upload recent Passport size colour Photograph, Signature, Pass Certificate of Professional Qualification, Final Year admit card of ongoing professional course (in case of candidates pursuing professional qualification) of recommended size (as mentioned in Instruction Manual).
- The candidate has to pay the fee through online banking/credit card/ debit card etc. he/she can take print out of the Online Application form.

The special TET exam admit card for the 6th schedule area in Assam, scheduled for 30 April 2023, is now available for download. You can download the TET admit card from the SEBA website at sebaonline.org from 18 April 2023, 11 AM onwards.
