The Director of Education department of the BTR government has released a notification for the admission to FREE coaching of APSC CSE exam 2023-24 under the Bodofa UN Brahma Super 50 Mission.
What is Bodofa Super 50 APSC Scheme?
The BTR government has launched a free coaching scheme for the people of the BTR region in 2022. Right now, there are four schemes under the Bodoland Super 50 Mission, as mentioned below:
The Bodofa Super50 Engineering and UPSC were launched in 2022, and the Medical and APSC were introduced this year, 2023.
About Bodofa Super 50 APSC
This article discusses the Bodoland Super 50 ASPC Coaching mission. However, there was already a UPSC free coaching scheme wherein 50 selected students took coaching at INS Chanakya coaching center in Delhi for the UPSC Civil Service Examination at National Level.
There was a need to crack the Assam Public Service Commission (ASPC) exam also, as very few students from the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), especially the ST tribes (Bodo community), were able to clear the APSC competitive exam.
The Assam PSC exam is one of the toughest exams in the state. To crack the exam, people take the help of the coaching center, and very few candidates manage to clear the APSC exam through self-preparation. And since the coaching fee of the APSC is expensive, many civil service aspirant candidates can’t afford the coaching, and hence their dream of cracking the APSC exam for the top state officers posts like ACS, APS, IFS, etc., is quite low.
So the BTR government initiated this FREE coaching of the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) Civil Service Examination (CSE) for the underprivileged students of the BTR. Fifty deserving students will be selected through the Common Admission Test (CAT) and sent to the APSC coaching center in Guwahati for 11 months of BTR govt sponsored residential coaching. The subject matter experts will provide the APSC prelims and mains 2023-24.
The candidates will also get a chance to interact with the senior civil service officers (guidance and experience ). The coaching center will also focus on the aptitude development of the candite along with the regular coursework assignment.

Bodoland Super 50 APSC Admission Details
The BTR Super 50 APSC admission for 2023 has started. The eligibility criteria, application, selection process, how to apply, important dates, important website links, and other information are shared below.
BTR Super 50 APSC Eligibility
- Any Graduate
- Appearing in Final Year of Graduation
- Must be permanent resident of BTR (Kokrajhar, Chirang, Baksa, Tamulpur, and Udalguri districts)
BTC Super 50 APSC Reservation
- 70% reservation for the ST category of BTR.
- 30% open for all category of BTR.

Bodoland Super 50 APSC Selection Process
The selection of the fifty candidates for the FREE APSC coaching in Bodoland will be made through the Common Admission Test (CAT).
Common Admission Test
Many candidates will apply for the scheme as all the civil service aspirants of the BTR wouldn’t miss the chance to grab the FREE coaching of APSC in BTR. To shortlist the deserving candidates of the economically weaker section of the BTR, the BTR government will carry out the Common Admission Test.
Based on the CAT entrance exam result, a merit list of students will be prepared wherein 10 candidates from each district of BTR will be selected, giving equal priority to each district.
The Common Admission Test Merit list will have 100 students named in Rank 1 to 100.
- Rank 1 – 50 will be selected for the Bodofa Super 50 UPSC coaching.
- And the rest, Rank 51-100, will be selected for the Bodofa Super 50 APSC coaching.
BTR Super 50 APSC Coaching Centre
The coaching center of the Bodofa UN Brahma Super 50 APSC will be in Guwahati. The exam name of the coaching center is not yet declared.
There is a high chance of choosing Allen Career Institute as the coaching center for the APSC CSE preparation, as the Allen Career Institute has already signed an MoU with the BTR government for the coaching of the Bodofa Super 50 Medical students for the preparation of the NEET UG 2024.
