What is Bodofa UN Brahma Super 50 Medical?
The residents of BTR can avail the best NEET coaching for FREE under the scheme of “Bodofa UN Brahma Super 50 Mission“, the initiative of the BTR government to honor the student leader and former ABSU president, the Father of Bodos, the late Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma.
Under this BTR Super50 Medical project, 50 students for medical entrance exam (NEET) are selected through a selection entrance test conducted by the BTR government. These 50 students will be selected from the 5 districts of the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), namely:
- Kokrajhar
- Chirang
- Baksa
- Udalguri
- Tamulpur
Note: Tamulpur district temporarily ceased to exist and is now part of the Baksa district again. The selection of students from Tamulpur might be from the Baksa district.

FREE Coaching of NEET 2024 for BTR Students
The BTC administration aims to transform medical aspirants’ lives coming from economically weaker sections of the BTR area of Assam. Through this Super50 Bodoland – Free Medical entrance exam coaching initiative, the BTR govt will prepare the youths of BTR for clearing the upcoming NEET exam.
The Government of BTR will provide 11 months of FREE residential coaching facility to the 50 selected meritorious medical wannabe of BTR. The selection will be made through the SET 2023 exam. The FREE NEET coaching will be provided by the experienced faculties in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology towards the preparation for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2023-24.

Coaching Centre
The Super 50 BTR coaching center of NEET 2024 under Bodoland Super 50 (Medical) has been selected at Allen Coaching centre in Guwahati.
The BTR Govt and the Allen Career Institute of Guwahati have signed an MoU on 27 April 2023, where 50 students will be selected for free residential medical coaching at Allen Coaching Centre in Guwahati Assam, for 11 months.

Bodofa Super 50 Mission Free NEET Medical Coaching Centre Selection
Eligibility Criteria
The candidates must meet the below mentioned eligibility criteria to be eligible for the 2023 SET entrance test of BTR Super 50 medical mission.
- Students of CBSE and State Board (SEBA) appearing or passed 12 board examination in 2023 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Student must be permanent resident of BTR, Assam.
- 60% and above in HSLC Examination for ST/SC candidates.
- 70% and above in HSLC Examination for General and other category candidates.
- 40% in Class 12th stand examination for ST/SC candidates/
- 50% in Class 12th standard examination for General and other category candidates.
- Students should be eligible for the NEET Entrance Exam.
Reservation
- 70% reservation for ST candidates of BTR.
- 30% for others living in BTR.
Selection Process
The selection exam of the Bodofa UN Brahma Super 50 medical students is called the SET exam. SET stands for Selection Entrance Test. The BTR SET 2023 exam consists of the following:
- Written Test
- Interview
1. Written Test
The written test date is on 13 May 2023, and it will carry 70% weightage in the final selection process of the candidate.
The super 50 exam 2023 named SET exam 2023 will have three subjects, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The questions will be of MCQs type and will carry a total marks of 80. For each correct answer, there will be +4 marks, and for each wrong answer, there will be -1 marks.
2. Interview
The candidates who cleared the written test will be called for Interview on 30 May 2023. It will carry 30% weightage in the final selection process.
Final Selection Process
The selection of aspiring medical candidates for admission shall be based on their performance in the Selection Entrance Test (SET) – 2023 . The written test will carry 70% weightage and Interview 30% weightage. Based on the score, top ten candidates from each district will be selected. There will be equal distribution of Male and Female Candidates to maintain gender equality (50% boys and 50% girls)

Note: Note, though Tamulpur district stop to exist temporarily, but it was carved out of Baksa, so candidates of Baksa who falls under previously declared Tamulpur district might be eligible for the seat.

Hi Masud, You may be eligible provided you meet all other eligible criteria. Tomorrow (30 April 2023) is the last date to apply for the SET 2023 exam. Why don’t you try and see, just apply and appear for the SET 2023 exam on 13 May.
Sir both 11 th and 12 th r needed for clearing the exam?
Hi Bito, The eligibility criteria of NEET UG exam is class 12 passed. So you will need to clear the class 12 before the admission of Super 50 Medical scheduled on 30 June 2023.
By that time, the result of Class 12 will get declared. So if you have appeared in Class 12 this year, and if you pass this SET entrance test, then there is chance of you getting admission provided you top the merit list.
