Bodofa UN Brahma Super 50 Engineering 2025: If you’re interested in pursuing an engineering course after completing your 12th, clearing the IIT JEE Main and Advanced exams is mandatory. This is great news for students in Bodoland who aspire to join an engineering program, as the BTR Government has introduced the Bodofa Super 50 Mission Scheme.
This initiative offers free coaching to help students prepare for the IIT JEE Exam. Many students have already achieved their dreams of pursuing engineering through the Bodofa UN Super 50 Mission.
Although no official notification has been released yet for the 2025 BTR Super 50 Engineering Coaching, online registration is expected to start in the second week of March 2025, based on previous years. Stay tuned for updates.

What is Bodofa UN Brahma Super 50 Engineering?
In 2022, the BTR Government launched an initiative for residents of BTR and aspiring students who wish to pursue engineering. The program, called the “Bodofa UN Brahma Super 50 Mission,” offers free JEE Main/Advanced coaching for BTR students. This initiative honours the late Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma, the former president of ABSU and a prominent student leader revered as the Father of the Bodos. The residents of BTR can avail themselves of the best IIT JEE coaching for FREE under the Bodofa UN Brahma Super 50 Mission.
Under this BTR Super50 Engineering project, 50 students for engineering entrance exams (IIT JEE Mains & Advanced) are selected through a selection entrance test conducted by the BTR government. These 50 students will be chosen from the five districts of the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR): Kokrajhar, Chirang, Baksa, Udalguri, and Tamulpur.

FREE Engineering Coaching of IIT-JEE for BTR Students
The BTC administration aims to transform engineering aspirants’ lives coming from economically weaker sections of the BTR area of Assam. Through this Super 50 Engineering Initiative, the BTR government will prepare the youths of BTR to clear the JEE Main and JEE Advanced.
The Government of BTR will provide 11 months of FREE residential coaching facility to the 50 selected meritorious engineering aspirants of BTR. The selection will be made through the SET 2025 exam. The FREE IIT JEE coaching will be provided by the experienced faculties in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics towards the preparation for the Joint Entrance Examination JEE Mains and Advanced 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the 2025 SET entrance test of the BTR Super50 engineering mission may differ from previous years, as there has not yet been an official notification regarding the Bodoland Super 50 scheme. In the meantime, refer to the 2024 eligibility criteria for more information.
The candidates must meet the below-mentioned eligibility criteria to be eligible for the 2024 SET entrance test of the BTR Super 50 engineering mission.
- CBSE and State Board (SEBA) students appearing or passing 12 board examinations with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- Student must be a permanent resident of BTR, Assam.
- 60% and above in HSLC Examination for ST/SC candidates.
- 70% and above in HSLC Examination for General and other category candidates.
- 65% in Class 12th stand examination for ST/SC candidates/
- 75% in Class 12th standard examination for General and other category candidates.
Reservation
- 70% reservation for ST candidates of BTR.
- 30% for others living in BTR.
Selection Process
The selection exam of the Bodofa UN Brahma Super 50 engineering students is called the SET exam. SET stands for Selection Entrance Test. The SET 2025 exam consists of the following:

The written test date is on 28 April 2025, and it will carry 70% weightage in the final selection process of the candidate.

2. Interview
The candidates who cleared the written test will be called for an Interview on 10 June 2025. It will carry 30% weightage in the final selection process.
Final Selection Process
The selection of aspiring candidates for admission shall be based on their performance in the Selection Entrance Test (SET) – 2025. The written test will carry 70% weightage and the Interview 30% weightage. Based on the score, top ten candidates from each district will be selected. There will be equal distribution of Male and Female Candidates to maintain gender equality (50% boys and 50% girls)
