Downtown Heroes Football Club: The Srinagar’s Downtown Heroes Football Club founded in 2020 is all all set for Durand Cup 2023. The club has been assigned to Group D and is scheduled to commence the national football on August 13th at SAI Stadium Kokrajhar.

Downtown Heroes FC is a football club based in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India. It was founded in 2020 by a group of young professionals with a mission to promote sports and keep young people away from drug addiction. The club competes in the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) Professional League and the I-League 2.
The clubs motto is “Players are bred, not born.”
Their main goal is to develop talented football players from the grassroots level by providing excellent training facilities and coaching. They believe that great players are made through hard work and dedication, not born with innate talent.
The club is dedicated to partnering with training institutions and centers to support youth development in various areas.

Downtown Heroes Football Club (FC), a rising football club from Srinagar, is ready to compete against some of the best teams in the nation as they are participating in the prestigious Durand Cup 2023.
The club, under the exceptional leadership of Irfan Shahmiri, the Chairman, has achieved remarkable success, earning them a spot in this oldest football tournament.
They will be facing teams like FC Goa, Shillong Lajong FC, and Northeast United FC in group D. Their first match is scheduled for August 13 at 4:45 pm against Shillong Lajong at SAI Stadium Kokrajhar.
