Eligibility Criteria:

• Qualification: Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent.

1. Physical Standard Tests (PST):

For Forester Grade-I and Forest Guard

2. Physical Efficiency Tests (PET):

Candidates who have passed the PST test can undergo the PET test. Only male candidates needs to appear for the PET. The PET has 2 events and will carry 40 marks.

1. Race: 3200 metres race to be completed within 14 minutes (840 seconds)
2. Long Jump: Minimum 335 cm for long jump (3 chances to be given and the longest valid jump rounded off to the nearest cm will be considered for awarding marks)

3. Written Test:

For the Post of Forester Grade-I:

• There will be OMR based questions consisting of 100 marks.1/2 negative marking will be there for the wrong answers.
• The questions will be set in three parts.
• The questions will be in four languages: Assamese, Bodo, Bengali and English.

For the posts of Forest Guard, AFPF Constable, Driver Constable and Driver

• The written test will consist of 100 marks of OMR based questions. No negative markings are notified. So you try to attempt all the question without hesitation as those lucky tickmark could increase your chances of selection.

4. Walking Test:

• Candidates who have appeared for the written test of Forester Grade 1 and Forest Guard have to attend the walking test.
• Male – 26 KM walking in 4 hours.
• Female – 16 KM walking in 4 hours.

5. Personal Interview (Oral/Viva):

   • Pass Certificate of HSLC or equivalent examination for the posts of AFPF Constable, Driver Constable & Driver.
   • Mark sheet of HSLC or equivalent examination for the post of AFPF Constable, Driver Constable & Driver.
