Assistant Professor (Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Mathematics) | Candidates applying for the post of Assistant professor, should posses good academic record with a least 55% ( relaxation of 5% for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories) or an equivalent grade in a point scale whenever grading system is followed at the master’s level and qualifying in the National Eligibility Test (NET) or accredited Test State Level Eligibility Test (SLET/SET). However, candidates who are or have been award Ph.D. Degree is accordance with the university Grants Commission ( Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree Regulation 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/ SLET/ SET. |
Laboratory Assistant | Candidates apply for the post of Assistant Laboratory should be graduate and diploma/ certificate course of computer applications of minimum 3 months. |
Laboratory Bearer | Candidates must be HSLC passed from the recognized state board. |

The Syllabi for written test will be of Degree level comprising General English, General Knowledge, Letter Drafting and Simple Arithmetic of class 10 standard.
Computer Test
In Computer test the candidates shall be tested the ability to type in the Assamese and English in MS Words and MS Excel.
