Music & Fine Arts College in Kokrajhar was affiliated with Gauhati University earlier, but the affiliation changed to Bodoland University in 2017.
Kokrajhar Music and Fine Arts Provincialization
The transition of Music and Fine Arts Venture College to provincialized college. In the 3rd Bodo peace accord, there was an agreement to provincialize the College of Music and Fine Arts at Kokrajhar.
The Government of Assam (GOA) kept their promise and provincialized the Dr Sobha Brahma Music Fine Arts College of Kokrajhar on 6 March 2020. With this, all the existing lecturers of the Kokrajhar Music and Fine Arts college became government employees.

Kokrajhar Music and Fine Arts Admission 2023
The new admission to Music and Fine Arts Kokrajhar for the academic session 2023-24 will start soon. Once the SEBA HS Result 2023 is declared, the college will start its undergraduate course admission. Last year, admission to Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Music started on 29 June 2022; this year, it may start early, in the 1st or 2nd week of June 2023.
