On the occasion of 62nd Teacher’s Day celebration on September 5th, 2023, BTR CEM Pramod Boro presented the prestigious ‘Pramod Chandra Brahma Literary Award 2022-23’ to two notable authors at Salbari College in Baksa district.”
This distinguished accolade was conferred upon two notable individuals: Shri Gobinda Basumatary, hailing from from Kajalgaon, Chirang, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to Bodo Literature, and Dr. Arupa Patangia Kalita, a native of Udalguri, lauded for his remarkable achievements in literature other than Bodo.
Each recipient was honored with traditional Aronai, along with a monetary prize of ₹2 Lakh, a memento, and a citation.
CEM Boro addressing the gathering extended his heartfelt congratulations to these respected authors and emphasized that the BTR government is dedicated to acknowledging and honoring people who greatly help in the world of literature, especially in improving Bodo literature.
