Assam Minority Girl Scholarship for PG and UG Students 2023 Notification
Scholarship for Minority Students in Assam 2023 Notification: The Higher Education Department of the Assam Government has released a new notification for inviting eligible candidates from Minority Students who are studying in UG and PG courses to fill up the application form for the Minority Grants in Assam 2023.
The online application process will start on 1 November 2023 and the last date of online application is 30 November 2023. Eligible candidates can apply before 30 November 2023.

About Assam Minority Girl Scholarship 2023
Scholarship to the Girls Minority Student 2023: “Assam Minority Girls Student Scholarship 2023” is a Minority Scholarship Scheme in Assam. With a view to providing financial grants to students belonging to minorities in Assam state, the directorate of higher education of Assam has implemented the ‘Scholarship to the Girl Students Belonging to Minority Communities of Assam’ scheme. Through this scheme, Minority students will be provided financial support.
Eligibility Criteria
Assam Girl Minority Scholarship Eligibility Criteria: Interested candidates must meet the eligibility criteria to apply for the Minority Scholarship for Girl Students in Assam 2023-24. The minimum qualifying marks to apply for the scholarship will be
- 50% in Higher Secondary Final year for those who apply for Minority Girls Scholarship Degree (UG) scheme
- 50% in General Degree Course for those who apply for Minority Girls Scholarship Degree (PG) scheme
- Students pursuing 1st semester General Degree and 1st semester General Master Degree course in Arts/Science/ Commerce discipline in provincialized/Govt. College or State Universities for the session 2023-2024 are eligible for the schemes.
- The Female students belonging to minority communities must be in a domicile of Assam,
- The Female students must belong to a notified minority community i.e. Muslims/Sikhs/Christians/
- Buddhists/Jains and Parsis. A Self-Certified Community Certificate is required from the
- student.
- The annual income of their parents/ guardians from all sources should not exceed Rs. 2.0 lakh only.
- The students must have valid (up-to-date) Active Bank accounts in their name (Preferably in SBI) and details to be submitted along with the application (Bank, Name, A/c Number, Branch Name, IFSC Code).
- The Scholarship amount will be credited to the selected bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode.
