The Assam Combined Merit Scholarship 2023 provides financial assistance to meritorious students pursuing higher education and encourages them to complete their studies.
The students pursuing 1st semester general Degree and 1st semester general Master Degree course in Arts/Science/Commerce discipline in provincialized/Govt. College or State/Central University of Assam for the session 2023-24 are eligible for the scholarship scheme.

Combined Merit Scholarship Eligibility
The minimum qualifying marks to apply for the Assam Combined Scholarship are shared below:
- Candidates, who apply for the Combined Merit Degree Scholarship Scheme, must secure 60% in the Higher Secondary Final year
- Candidates, who apply for the Combined Merit Master Degree Scholarship Scheme, must secure 60% in the General Degree Course.
- The student must be a domicile of Assam.
- The Students must have valid Active Bank Accounts in their name
- The scholarship will be disbursed through the DBT system to the beneficiaries
- The candidate will possess the relevant qualification from any recognized institution
How To Apply Combined Merit Scholarship 2023-24?
Interested students who meet the above-mentioned eligibility criteria can apply for the Assam Combined Scholarship 2023 at the Assam DME Scholarship Website at… from 1 November 2023 to 30 November 2023. After the final submission of the online application form, take a printout and submit the hardcopy to the concerned Registrar/Principal/Head of the Institute along with the necessary copies of certificates/documents.
The committee constituted at the College or the University, will compile and verify the application form and other relevant documents as per guidelines and instructions. After necessary verification, the concerned Registrar/Principal/Head of the Institution will submit the valid online application form along with all the relevant certificates/documents with a statement to the O/o Directorate of Higher Education, Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati-781019 under their seal and signature on or before 7 December 2023
