CIT Kokrajhar Admission 2023: The Central Institute of Technology in Kokrajhar admission process has started. The CIT Kokrajhar Entrance Examination 2023 for admission is scheduled for 18 June 2023 (for Diploma, UG and PG courses), and 25 June 2023 for PhD courses. The Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) has only two engineering colleges, one is the Central Institute of Technology in Kokrajhar, and another one is Bineswar Brahma Engineering College (BBEC) in Kokrajhar. The Central Institute of Technology (CIT) in Kokrajhar is a deemed university founded on 19 Dec 2006, as part of the BTC agreement 2003. It’s the only deemed university in the engineering field in Bodoland (BTR).
The Central Institute of Technology in Kokrajhar district is shortly known as CITK. The CITK have announced CITK Entrance Exam 2023 for selecting students for admission into their university.

CIT Kokrajhar Entrance Exam 2023
The Central Institute of Technology Kokrajhar Entrance Examination (CITKEE) is an entrance exam conducted by the CIT Kokrajhar for the selection of students for admission to their institute for Diploma, Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Design, Master of Technology, Master of Design, and Ph.D programs.
The admission into the engineering college CIT Kokrajhar will start soon. The CITK admits students through the entrance exam they conduct annually. The name of the entrance exam conducted every year by the CITK is the CIT Kokrajhar Entrance Exam (CITKEE). The application process for 2023 CITKEE has been started from 15 March 2023 till 30 May 2023.
The CITK entrance exam for Diploma/B.Tech./B.Des/M.Tech./M.Desh will be held on 18 June 2023, and for Ph.D will be held on 25 June. The results will be declared on 12 July 2023.

Selection Process
Candidates who want to do a diploma in CITK have two options for admission.
- Central Institute of Technology Diploma Entrance Exam (CITDEE) = This CITDEE/CITKEE exam will be conducted by the CIT Kokrajhar. On passing this exam, based on merit, you’ll be eligible for admission. 85% of the seat are allocated for CITKEE pass-out students.
- Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) = The PAT exam is conducted by the State Council of Technical Education (SCTE), Assam, for admission into polytechnic colleges/courses. 15% seats are allocated through PAT.
The CITKEE will be conducted earlier than PAT.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- HSCL/10th passed or equivalent with 40% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in Science, Mathematics (or Advanced Mathematics) and English taken together.
- 5% relaxation for ST/SC/PWD candidates.
Age Limit
The age of candidates as on 1 Aug of the current Academic year must not exceed the following age limit for different categories mentioned below:

Direct Entry
Candidates who want to do a 4 years Bachelor of Technology in CITK have two options for admission.
- Central Institute of Technology Bachelor of Technology Entrance Exam (CITBTEE) = This CITBTEE/CITKEE exam will be conducted by the CIT Kokrajhar. On passing this exam, based on merit, you’ll be eligible for admission. 60% of the seat are allocated for CITKEE pass-out students.
- JEE Mains = JEE (Mains) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA), for admission into B.Tech colleges/courses. 40% seats are allotted for JEE (Mains) qualified candidates.
Vertical/Lateral Entry
- Vertical Entry: The Vertical Entry Scheme is offered only for meritorious students who passed Diploma from CIT Kokrajhar and they are selected based on their performance in the Diploma Exams.
- Lateral Entry: For Lateral Entry Scheme, the candidates must qualify the Central Institute of Technology BTECH Lateral Entry Test (CITKEE)-2023 – conducted by CIT Kokrajhar.

- 12th passed with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
