Agriculture College in Kokrajhar: Assam has only a few Agriculture colleges, and Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) has none. BTR needs one agriculture college, especially in Kokrajhar district, the main headquarter of the BTR.

The MLA Lawrence Islary of East Kokrajhar mentioned in his Media interview that he has submitted a question in the upcoming Winter session of the Assam Assembly which will start on 20 Dec 2022, that Kokrajhar needs one Agriculture College. If his question is marked as a starred question, then we can hear from CM Dr. Himanta Sharma and Agriculture Minister Shri Atul Bora about their plan and whether we’ll get one shortly or not.
Even if it’s marked a non-starred question, we can get a reply in writing that we may see online.
