The Assam State government has announced the Assam Scooty Scheme or Pragyan Bharti Scheme 2023, aimed at providing scooters to meritorious students. To be eligible, students must have achieved a first-division in the Higher Secondary Examination for the year 2023. Students are given the option to choose between petrol or electric scooters.
The Assam Higher Secondary Educational Council released the results for the 12th grade on June 6, 2023. Under this Assam Pragyan Bharati Scooty Scheme 2023, female students who achieved a score of 60% or higher in the recently concluded Higher Secondary Exams will be given a scooter. Male students, on the other hand, must meet the criteria of scoring 75% or above to qualify for the scooter.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for Assam Pragyan Bharati Scooter Scheme 2023, the applicants must meet the following list:
- Applicant must permanent resident of Assam State.
- Applicant must have secured 1st division in Class 12th.
- Applicant must be enrolled in a government school in Assam.
- Girl students securing 60% or above
- Boy students securing 75% or above in the Higher Secondary Examination 2023 conducted by AHSEC
