Nalbari Medical College and Hospital: Nalbari Medical College and Hospital is a new Medical College in Assam with an attached Hospital located in Nalbari, Assam. It is the first and only Medical College in the Nalbari district of Assam.
Nalbari Medical College and Hospital: The Nalbari Medical College & Hospital operates under the State Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Assam and it is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and affiliated with Srimanta Sankardeva University Health Sciences, Guwahati. Nalbari Medical College and Hospital Inauguration
The Nalbari Medical College was established by Govt. of Assam and affiliated to Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS), Guwahati National Medical Commission (NMC) inspected KMCH on 31 January 2023. KMCH got a Letter of Intent on 14 February 2023 and a Letter of Permission on 22 February 2023 for the admission of 100 students every year.
On 14 April 2023, PM Narendra Modi Inaugurated the Nalbari Medical College and Hospital, along with All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Guwahati, and two other medical colleges- Kokrajhar Medical College & Hospital and Nagaon Medical College & Hospital.
