The Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) government has launched a very good project for the people of BTR. The project has been named CEM Super 50. Here CEM stands for Chief Executive Member, CEM is the Official post name of the head of the BTC government i.e., CEM Pramod Boro.
The BTR govt. partnered with Chanakya IAS Academy, Delhi to execute the CEM Super 50 scheme.

What is CEM Super 50?
In simple words, the CEM Super 50 is an initiative of the govt. of BTR for producing top administrators from the region i.e., 5 districts of BTR namely, Kokrajhar, Chirang, Baksa, Udalguri, and Tamulpur.
In order to achieve the same, the BTR government has partnered with Chanakya IAS Academy, Delhi for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Free Coaching Program for IAS/IPS/IFS aspirants of BTR.
So 50 eligible candidates from BTR will get free coaching at Delhi’s premier Chanakya IAS Academy for 11 months.
Why CEM Super 50 was Launched?
The sole objective of the CEM Super 50 is to create top bureaucrats from the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).
Regarding the launch of CEM Super 5, the CEM Pramod Boro said,
This was an initiative of the BTC government for producing top administrators from the Bodoland region as the number of persons clearing the UPSC examination from this region was less due to lack of competitive academic environment and proper guidance.
The BTC government has been constantly trying to create a competitive educational environment among the students so that the number of persons clearing the top competitive examinations goes up every year.
Eligibility for Super 50 UPSC Coaching?
- Any Graduate
- Appearing Final Year of Graduate
- Must be a Permanent Resident of BTR
Reservation Policy
- 70% reservation for ST candidates
- 30% seats open for all residents of BTR
What all are FREE in FREE UPSC Coaching of CEM Super 50?
The full residential UPSC coaching at Delhi is for 11 months and during the time of coaching, the government of BTR will bear the expenses of candidates for the below
- Accommodation Fee
- Food Fee
- Entire Course Fee
How to Apply for the CEM Super 50 Program?
Every eligible aspirant can join the free coaching program and fulfill your UPSC dreams! If you are wondering how to get selected for the CEM Super 50 program, no worries, the BTC govt has made it very simple. Two process
- Common Admission Test (CAT): The interested and eligible students need to appear for the CAT exam designed for Super 50 selection. The first CAT exam was held on 5 Aug 2022. The total number of accepted applicants for the exam is 1627.
- Personal Interview (PI): The PI is not mandatory, the selection team will only execute it if necessary.
Result of CAT for Super 50 Program?
The result of the CAT exam conducted on 5 Aug 2022 is out on 8 Aug 2022.

1. What happens if the student discontinues the Free Coaching?
Any candidates who don’t want to continue the Free UPSC coaching, then he/she will require to refund to the government of BTR, the entire amount spent on him/her.
