CLAT Notification 2024: The Consortium of National Law Universities has released an advertisement notification for inviting Indian students or NRI who wish to appear in the CLAT 2024 Examination for UG and PG Courses. The CLAT 2024 examination will be held in OFFLINE mode on 3 December 2023. The online application started on 1 July 2023 and the last date of online application is 3 November 2023. So, Candidates seeking admission to National Law Universities (NLUs) can apply for CLAT 2024 on or before 3 November 2023.

About Common Law Admission Test | CLAT 2024
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national-level law entrance exam for admissions to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes offered by 24 National Law Universities
in India. CLAT is organized by the Consortium of National Law Universities, comprising representative universities.
Several affiliate universities and organisations also use the CLAT exam for admissions and recruitment respectively. All admissions to the 5-year integrated LLB and LLM programmes that commence in the Academic Year 2024-2025 will be through the CLAT 2024.
CLAT Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates who appear for their qualifying examination in March/ April 2024 are also eligible to appear for the CLAT 2024 examination.
1. CLAT Eligibility UG
Educational Qualification: The education qualification to appear in CLAT UG Exam 2024 to pursue 5 year LLB Course in National Law Universities is shared below:
- Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary examination with minimum 45% marks.
- 40% marks are equivalent in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST Candidates.
CLAT Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for candidates appearing for UG Programme through the CLAT 2024.
2. CLAT Eligibility PG
Educational Qualification: The educational qualification to appear CLAT PG Exam 2024 to Pursue LLM Course in National Law Universities is shared below
An LLB Degree with a minimum of 50% marks for General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories and 45% marks in the case of SC/ST categories.
CLAT Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for appearing for the CLAT 2024.
Application Fee
Candidates who wish to appear in CLAT 2024 Examination and apply for the CLAT 2024 Exam need to pay a non-refundable application fee.

Steps to fill out CLAT Application Form 2023:
- Visit the Consortium of National Law Universities’ official website- @consortiumofnlus.ac.in
- Click on the “CLAT 2024” Button
- Click the link “REGISTER” to complete the registration process
- After completing the Registration Process log in to the portal using the registered mobile number and password.
- Fill out the application form by entering all the correct details.
- Upload all the required documents in the specified format.
- Pay the fee through the online payment mode to complete the application process.
- Once the application process is done print the downloaded form
Required Documents
Documents are to be uploaded with the Online Application:
- Passport-size recent photograph with a plain background.
- Signature of the candidate.
- Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC).
- Relevant certificate (P.W.D).
- Relevant certificate (BPL).
NOTE:
1. The original certificates/documents issued by the competent authority as specified in the brochure are to be submitted to the allotted University in the form and manner specified by the respective universities at the time of admission.
2. The photograph and signature of the candidate need not be attested while submitting the Online Application Form.
