The Indian Football Federation has announced that the Senior Women’s National Team has successfully qualified for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Olympic qualifiers Round 2. The scheduled tournament will take place from October 26th to November 1st, 2023, and will feature tough competitors such as Uzbekistan, Japan, and Vietnam.
As part of Group C in the AFC Women’s Olympic Tournament Round 2, the Indian Women’s team will contend against Japan on October 26th, Vietnam on October 29th, and will host Uzbekistan (H) on November 1st. These matches will be held at the JAR Stadium and the Bunyodkor Stadium in Tashkent.
In preparation for this event, the team will begin their training camp in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha, starting from August 1st, following their arrival on July 30th.
