Assam Atmanirbhar Scheme 2023: The Mukhya Mantri Atmanirbhar Asom Abhiyan was launched by the Chief Minister of Assam, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on 20 September 2023, during a cabinet meeting.

CM Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan Eligibility Criteria
To register for CM Atmanirbhar Scheme 2023 applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam. Apart from this candidates who are interested in Assam Atmanirbhar Scheme 2023 must meet the eligibility criteria as mentioned below:
Education Qualification:
The applicant must have a minimum qualification Class X Pass for the general category (For candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC: up to class X)
Note: ITI, Polytechnic, Diploma in other Technical Courses, Postgraduate degree Holders in Professional courses like Engineering, MBBS, BDS, Veterinary, Fisheries, Agriculture, CA, etc. are eligible for CM Atmanirbhar Yojana.
Other Qualification:
- The applicant must possess skills, experiences, knowledge, etc., to undertake income-generating activities.
- The applicants must have a bank account, which has been opened before 31st December 2023.
- The applicant must have not defaulted on any loan taken from Co-operative and Nationalized Bank in the past
- Not more than one member from any family shall be eligible for availing benefits under this scheme.
- The applicant must have valid registration in the Employment Exchange.
Mukhya Mantri Atmanirbhar Asom Age Limit: Candidate must be above 28 years and below 40 years as of 1st April 2023 (upper age limit is relaxed to 43 years for SC/ST/OBC category).
Age Relaxation: Relaxation in upper age limit is 3 years for OBC, SC and ST category candidates
