Free Tablet Scheme 2023 in Assam: The Assam Government has initiated the Assam Free Tablet Scheme with the aim of enhancing the education system in the state. This scheme is specially designed for the students who are studying in Class XI, XII, and Class XII pass-out students in Science Stream. The grant will facilitate more enrollment of ST students in Medical or Engineering courses through entrance tests.

Details of the Scheme
The scheme aims to provide Personalized Learning Solution Project to 674 ST students. The components of the scheme are as follows:
- Tablet PC with access to Pre-Recorded Lecture sessions of 480 hours
- Digital Content for Class XI and XII in English
- Course material for IIT, JEE, and NEET
- Continuous assessment and AIR Mock Test
- Doubt clearing Session
- Parent Teacher meeting
- Offline classes
Eligibility Criteria
Free Tablet for Students from Assam Government: The candidate interested in applying for the Free Tablet for Students in Assam 2023 under the One-Time Special Grant For Development of ST Community Scheme must meet the eligibility criteria.
- Students must belong to ST community
- Students must be pursuing the Science stream in Class 11 and Class 12 or completed Class 12
- Students must have received at least 60% in their last examination
Selection Process
Free Tablet for Students in India 2023 Assam: Free Government Tablet for ST Students in Assam selection process will be made through the percentage of students. The minimum percentage for applying Free Tablet Distribution Scheme by Assam Government is 60%. But if the total number of applicants crosses 674, then the selection process will be undertaken through an assessment process.
