Chief Minister’s Bigyan Pratibha Sandhan 2023:The Science Technology & Climate Change Department of Assam Government has released a notification for the Mukhya Mantrir Bigyan Pratibha Sandhan Scheme for students who have passed the class X board examination with a minimum of 75% marks from a government school in Assam.
Under the scheme, 100 Students currently studying class XI in the science stream will be selected and divided into groups per their field of interest and sent for a week Fellowship Camp for a Scientific Institution in the country. Among them, the five best students will be chosen to visit a world-famous Scientific Institution.

About Mukhya Mantrir Bigyan Pratibha Sandhan 2023
Assam CM Bigyan Pratibha Sandhan Scheme 2023 is an initiative program by the Assam CM, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma. The Science Technology & Climate Change Department of Assam Government has launched a new scheme for the students of Assam to identify extraordinarily talented school students of class XI in Science Stream through a standardised selection process. Under this scheme, the students will get benefits as mentioned below:
- One hundred students (50 girls) studying in class 11 in the Science stream will be selected.
- The Students will be divided into groups per their field of interest and sent for one week Fellowship Camp for scientific exposure in reputed scientific institutions of the country.
- The institutions’ mentors will provide online mentoring to the students for the entire year based on their necessity.
- The five best students will be selected to visit world-famous scientific institutions.
Eligibility Criteria
Students who are interested in applying for Mukhya Mantrir Bigyan Pratibha Sandhan must meet the eligibility criteria mentioned below:
- The student must be a permanent resident of Assam
- The Students must have passed the class 10 examination with minimum 75% marks from any government school
- The Student must be studying in class IX in the Science stream in the state with at least three subjects from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Statistics and Computer Science.

Selection Process
The selection will be done through a two-phase exam pattern:
- Written Test comprising MCQ, MSQ and NAT questions
- Interview/ Group Discussion
