Assam Sports Scholarship 2023 Notification: Good news for the sports person youths in Assam. The Directorate of Sports & Youth Welfare of Assam Government has released a notification for inviting the eligible players for Assam Sports Scholarship 2023. Sports Scholarship in Assam 2023: As per the Sports Talent Search Scholarship 2023 Notification, the candidates are advised to submit their application from 21 September 2023 to 30 September 2023 at the District Sports Office of their respective district. The Sports Talent Search Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of performance in the both State Level and National Level.
Assam Sports Talent Search Scholarship Eligibility
Assam Sports Scholarship Eligibility: To be eligible for Assam Sports Scholarship 2023 the applicant must be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of Assam.
Assam Sports Scholarship Age Limit:
- In case of school students applicants must not be more than 19 years on 31 March 2023.
- In case of non student, College and University, candidates must not be more than 25 years on 31 March 2023
- In case of Para Olympic and Special Olympic playersrelaxation of 5 years is available.
Assam Sports Talent Search Scholarship Selection Process
Assam Sports Scholarship Selection Process: The Sports Talent Search Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of performance in State Level & National Level.
1. State Level
Member of Champion & Runner-up teams and those attaining first three positions in individual discipline/event in the State level Competitions, organized by the Directorate of sports & Youth WElfare, Assam, Assam Higher Seondary Education Council, State Sports Associations (Recognized by Assam Olympic Association Khelo India, Para Olympic Association, Special Olmpic Bharat, Inter College are also eligible for Assam Sports Scholarship 2023.
2. National Level
Member of Winner and Runners-up teams and those attaining first three positions in individual discipline/event in National level Competitions, organized by the School Games Federation of India (SGFI), National Sports Federations (NSF)/Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India/Inter University Sports organized by the authorized University Sports Control Board/Khelo India/Para Olympic Association/Special Olympic Bharat, are eligible for Assam Sports Scholarship 2023.
How To Apply Assam Sports Talent Search Scholarship 2023?
Assam Sports Scholarship Form 2023: To apply for Assam Sports Scholarship 2023 eligible applicants will have to collect applications form from their respective District Sports Office from 21 September 2023 and submit the application form along with all the required documents on or before 30 September 2023 in their District Sports Office.
Note: No applications will be issued and recieved directly by the Directorate of Spots & Youth Welfare, Assam in favour of any applicant.

Assam Sports Talent Search Scholarship Amount
Assam Sports Scholarship Amount: The amount of Sports Scholarship in Assam for State level and National Level has been shared below:
1. State Level: The amount of the Sports Talent Search Scholarship for state level will be Rs. 12,000.00 for Gold Medal, Rs.10,000.00 for Silver Medal and Rs. 8,000.00 for Bronze Medal.
2. National Level: The amount of the Sports Talent Search Scholarship for national level will be Rs. 20,000.00 for Gold Medal, Rs. 18,000.00 for Silver Medal and Rs. 16,000.00 for Bronze Medal.
Note: Applications of full time employees will not be considered for the award if he/she is working in Government Department/Undertaking/PSUs.
Note: The Sports Talent Search Scholarship will be awarded for 1(one) year and one time only
