About SEED Mission
The Bodoland Skill Employment & Entrepreneurship Development (SEED) Mission was inaugurated on December 14th, 2021, as a transformative initiative dedicated to empowering and nurturing the youth in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR). It bridged the skill gap by providing comprehensive training programs and fostering a favorable environment for employment and entrepreneurship.
The mission focused on vocational and technical training, enhancing existing skills and introducing new ones aligned with industry needs. It also encouraged innovation and prepared young individuals for future opportunities. The mission’s success resulted in a skilled BTR with increased employment opportunities, economic prospects, and overall happiness and prosperity for its residents.
The SEED Mission, an initiative aimed at promoting skill development and employment opportunities, is diligently overseen by BTR Chief Executive Member (CEM) Pramod Boro and Executive Member Wilson Hasda. The SEED Mission has successfully implemented various impactful schemes aimed at empowering individuals through skill enhancement and vocational training.
Under their guidance, the SEED Mission implements schemes such as Craftsmen Training, Vocational Training, Crafts Instructor Training, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), Advanced Vocational Scheme, and Rozgar Mela.
