Lalit Kala Akademi Scholarship 2023 Notification

Lalit Kala Akademi has just released an advertisement for Lalit Kala Akademi Scholarship 2022-23 for the young Indian Artist. Each deserving candidate will get the scholarship amount of Rs. 20,000 on a monthly basis for the duration of 1 year through the Lalit Kala Akademi Scholarship Scheme.

What is Lalit Kala Akademi Scholarship 2023?
The Lalit Kala Academy scholarship is awarded every year to forty young and upcoming artists in the field of Sculpture, Painting, Ceramics, Graphics, Art History, Art Criticism, Art Management, Art Curation and Documentation. The registered scholars under this scheme are awarded Rs.20,000 per month for a period of twelve months. The minimum age limit for the scholars is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 35 years.
The Lalit Kala Akademi Award is given to young and budding artists every year. The Lalit Kala scholarship scheme is to provide young artists with a workspace where their skills can be improved and they can develop innovative ideas in their respective fields of visual arts.

The selected scholars are required to work in one of the Regional centres of the Akademi. Candidates must have to submit at least two works photographs considered suitable and duly certified by the Head of the Regional Centre/Institution every month.

The Selection for the Lalit Kala Scholarship will be made by a Jury Comprising Senior artists and experts in the field of art.

Each selected candidate will be paid Rs. 20,000 per month for a period of one year to cover their living expenses, travel expenses, purchase of art material, etc.
