FREE Coaching Scheme for Tea Tribes and Adivasi Community
Tea tribes and Adivasi communities from Assam, including Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), are lacking in many fields; one is education, where they need upliftment. The Assam government has a special scheme wherein students from the Tea tribes and Adivasi community can grab the opportunity for their higher studies or apply in competitive exams for government job vacancies.

Coaching For Higher Studies Scheme 2023
Coaching for Higher Studies is a government scheme for Tea Tribes and Adivasis students where they can either go for higher studies (for class 12 pass-out students) or govt jobs preparation (for graduate students).
Higher Studies: Under the Coaching for Higher Studies scheme, the students can opt to prepare for the medical or engineering entrance exam based on their interest and the subjects they have taken during their class 12.
- Students with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) can opt for engineering entrance exam preparation like Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) and Main Advanced for admission into prestigious IIT, NITs, and other engineering colleges within the Assam who uses the score of these entrance exam for their admission purposes.
- Students with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) can opt for medical entrance exam preparation like National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) for admission into prestigious AIIMS and other top medical colleges in Assam and India.
Govt Jobs Preparation: Under the same scheme of Coaching for Higher studies for the Adivasi community and Tea tribes, the graduate students can apply for coaching for Govt job-related exams such as Civil Services/Staff Selection Board (SSC)/Banking/and other govt job-related exams.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the FREE coaching schemes for the Tea tribe and Adivasi community, you need to fulfil certain criteria, as mentioned below:
- The Candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam and belonging to the Tea Tribes and Adivasi Community to avail of the government scheme coaching for Higher studies
- Minimum Eligibility Criteria for Coaching for Higher Studies Scheme: Undergraduate candidates who are preparing for medical, should be from the science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and for engineering, should be from the science stream with Physics Chemistry and Mathematics.
- Minimum Eligibility Criteria for Coaching for Job-Related Exams: For graduate-level job-related exam coaching, candidates must secure the required minimum percentage of marks in their graduation as required for appearing in such job-related exams.
How to Apply Coaching For Higher Studies 2023 in Assam?

10% Fees to be paid by the candidates
As per the guidelines of the scheme 90% of the fees of the coaching for the competitive exams will be given by the Govt and the remaining 10% fees is to be paid by the candidates to the coaching centres directly. The 10% fees payable by the candidates against each course and total seats availabe against each course has shared below:
